Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday ruled out his resignation two days before the Pakistani assembly was scheduled to take the movement not confident towards his government.
I will not resign in any circumstances. I will play until the last ball and I will surprise them the day before because they are still under pressure,” Ani’s news agency quoted Imran Khan talking to the Pakistani news channel Geo News.
The Pakistani Prime Minister also claimed that the movement was not confident of him would not succeed.
No one has to be under the false impression that I will sit at home. I will not resign, and why should I subdue because of the pressure from the thief?” He stressed while stating he would not be silent if he was forced to resign.
Pakistani Prime Minister also denied the report had fallen with a very strong Pakistani force. “If the army was not here, the country would be split into three parts. The army should not be criticized for politics,” Khan said.
According to reports, most major generals including the head of the General Qamar Javed Bajwa army, DG-Fill in Lieutenant General Naved Ahmed Anjum has asked Imran Khan to resign after the OIC conference. Prime Minister’s final efforts to buy time, which included a private meeting with Bajwa and also rushed the head of the former army of Raheel Sharif to hold talks with generals leaders who had not produced results.
