What’s Coming to Netflix This Week: December 8th – December 15th

This Friday in particular only houses one Netflix Original whereas normally we’re treated to several. As we mentioned, Netflix has lined up its holiday release schedule instead so head over to our December 2019 preview for a full look at what’s coming further down the road.

Let’s begin with the new Christmas content and there’s two new titles to look forward to this week.

Netflix Release: Monday, December 9th

Family Reunion is one of Netflix’s new sitcoms for 2019 with part 1 available now and more on the way. A Christmas special is set to release on Netflix on Monday which sees the family prepping for a church Christmas pageant.

This won’t be an additional episode to the main series but rather have its own title listed on Netflix just in case you’re unable to find it.

On Thursday, December 12th, we’ll likely be headed out with an adventure for the final time with British comedian Jake Whitehall and his father. The special, entitled “Christmas with my Father” will see the two perform at a packed London theatre.

Netflix Release: Tuesday, December 10th

It’s been an agonizing wait for more seasons of Outlander to be on Netflix after its surprise addition over the summer.

While we’ll still be three seasons behind even with the addition of season 3, it’ll still be a welcome addition. Season 3 kicks off with the fallout from the Battle of Culloden with Claire adjusting to life in 1940s Boston.

Netflix Release: Friday, December 13th

The only Netflix Original coming to Netflix on Friday is 6 Underground starring Ryan Reynolds. The action-packed movie will see plenty of cars and signature explosions from Michael Bay.
