KABUL [Afghanistan], April 5 (Ani): Taliban on Monday claimed that they had detained Islamic state violence (ISIS) in Afghanistan.

The claim was made for Chinese media by the acting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Khan Muttaqi, who said that Isis had not been able to carry out any attacks in the country in recent months, reported Tolo news.

Daesh did not have operations in the past four months. We can say that Afghanistan is a safe country today and we are committed to the promise we make to the world, the promise that Afghan land will not be used against any country,” he said.

China is rumored to have a good relationship with the current Afghan government. Taliban diplomats have been accepted by the Chinese government; However, Beijing has not officially recognized the Taliban.

Muttaqi called his recent visit to Constructive China. At the end of March the Taliban delegation, led by Minister of Acting Muttaqi visited China, where they held several rounds of talks with diplomats and top envoys, reported Tolo news.

The meeting was positive and useful. We hope such meetings will bring good results and Afghans can hear the good news,” Muttaqi said.

He also reaffirmed the Taliban call for economic policy to facilitate investment in Afghanistan, reported Tolo news.

The presence of Afghanistan in large economic projects will not be possible unless the big problem is resolved in Afghanistan . said Jawid Sangdil, a political expert.
