Breaking News!! The wait for Loat season3 is finally going to be over. The hist series is coming with its third season on Netflix in December 2021 with all of its 10 episodes. This amazing sci-fi series is a remake of the original Tv series that was made in the ’60s and then into a movie in the late ’90s.
The series has always been an unappreciated sci-fi treasure, which has often lost its popularity due to its comparison with Stranger Things. Nonetheless this series has got two nominations for primetime Emmys after its second season.
What is the plot of the series?

In the season 2 Finale of the Series, we saw Judy Will and Penny had all escaped from the invading Robot Army, one of the cliffhangers that were left is is the Jupiter Transport carrying children had come into contact with the Fortuna, The long lost ship that has been mentioned throughout Lost in Space.
Many theories by the fans have emerged suggesting that Grant Kelly might be alive, or Netflix might recruit some of the old cast members to reappear in the series final season.
Knowing the fact that the series is a moving location, we are guessing that we will be on a different planet in season 3.
Another plot that was left hanging was that of Dr. Smith, wherein it seemed to be over for her, though her body was never recovered. Looking at how smart she is we are unable to believe that it was her ultimate demise and we are expecting her to return. We might also find out about the fate of Maureen and John who were last seen in the robot stack.
When was it renewed for season 3?
Season 3 of the series is going to wrap up the story as it will be the final season of Lost in Space as announced by Netflix. The NX of Netflix on the Netflix official account along with the Show’s official Twitter confirmed that the sci-fi series is going to be coming back. The Show was renewed in March 2020.
Although this decision was disappointing to the fans, it is good that the series is getting a final climax rather than being left with a cliffhanger. Even though there have been a few petitions asking Netflix to keep the show running, it is most unlikely to happen as ZaEstrin the showrunner for lost in space in a statement has mentioned that they have always viewed this story of the Robinsons as a trilogy, so it seems to be a done deal.
Who is the cast and crew of the series?
Lost in SPace is nothing without the Robinson family so the parents Maureen played by Molly Parker and John played by Toby Stephens will without a doubt return to the show along with their kids Judy, Will, and Penny that is Taylor Russel, Maxwell Jenkins, and Mina Sundwall will be back. We are expecting that Angela played by Sibongile Mlambo from season 1 who was promoted to Season 2 to be seen in season 3 as well, along with the villains of the show- Parker Posey and Ignacio Serricchio played by June Haris and Don West Respectively.
What is the production status of this series?
The show’s filming Schedule, like many other shows and film schedules, has been affected due to Covid-19 resulting in delays for many projects.
Netflix’x NX announced on 26th September that The show was back in production. It completed shooting on 16th January 2021.
