An alert Indian expat was fete by the Dubai Police at his plant for his frippery in stopping a pincher fleeing with cash worth2.7 million dirhams in Dubai’s Deira quarter.elderly officers from the Dubai Police surprised Keshur Kara Chavada Karu Ghela, 32, an Indian expat, at his plant on Monday, to recognize him, the Khaleej Times review reported on Wednesday.
The incident took place last month in the Naif area of Deira quarter, where two Asians, carrying two bags containing Dh in cash of different currencies, were interdicted by the suspect, who snared a bag and made a run for it, the report quoted the director of Naif police station, Dr Major General Tariq Tahlak, as saying.
As the two Asian men cried for help, Mr Keshur saw the purloiner running with the stolen bag toward him. He bravely dived the felonious, started scuffling with him, and projected him to the ground until the police details arrived and made the arrest,” Tahlak said.His quick thinking helped balk a thievery attempt of Dh2.7 million( roughly ₹6.6 crore) in the Naif area, the report said.

Ghela said he was happy to be fete by the Dubai Police in the presence of his associates. He said he’ll ever cherish the order of honour.
Headed by Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commandant- in- Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, the delegation which visited Ghela at his office included a number of elderly officers, according to the Khaleej Times.
Maj Gen Al Mansouri explained that honouring Ghela at his plant and among his associates and neighbours reflects Dubai Police’s keenness on strengthening the conception of community cooperation and buttressing the sense of responsibility among individualities.
