China has postponed the proposal at the United Nations (UN) to make the Black List of the Main Mumbai 26/11 attack as a global terrorist. Proposal for the Black List of Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) Terrorist Sajid Mir was moved by the US and sponsored together by India.
China blocked the steps to appoint Sajid Mir as a global terrorist at the Al-Qaeda 1267 Sanctions Committee from the UN Security Council (UNSC).
The proposal driven by the US has been called to make MIR into frozen assets, travel ban and weapons embargo. Mir has a prize of $ 5 million placed on his head by the US.
Pakistan, who has tried to get out of the ‘gray list’ from the Financial Action Task Force (Faft), in June sentenced Sajid Mir to 15 years in prison in prison in a terror funding case. However, Pakistan has not ordered it because of his involvement in the Mumbai terror attack.
China has detained all this year’s proposal to the terrorists based on Blacklist. Last month, technical clutches were placed on a US-supported proposal for the Black List Abdul Rauf Azhar, brother of Jaish-E Mohammed (JEM) Head of Masood Azhar and a senior leader of the terror organization based in Pakistan.
In June this year, another US-supported joint proposal against Abdul Rehman Makki at the Al-Qaeda 1267 Sanctions Committee was blocked by China.
