China on Monday jerked by the 6.8-Magnitudo earthquake, one of the most powerful vibrations that hit the southwest province in recent years. Sixty -five people died and more than 50,000 were moved to a safer area when the rescue rushed to reach hundreds of people who were stranded,

restoring utilities and sending emergency assistance, according to the Reuters news agency. Now a video has appeared on Twitter that shows the impact of the earthquake.

The clip showed a collapsed building and tower vibrating.Video, captured by Dashcam installed in a car engaged on the same road when the earthquake hit, the faster the traction.

Nearly 250 people were treated due to injury, with dozens of seriously injured, according to the Chinese government media.

A strong earthquake hit Sichuan after noon on Monday, with a far earthquake center in the interior of the provincial mountains in the west, said Reuters. The earthquake was felt as far as the provinces of Shaanxi and Guizhou, hundreds of kilometers away.

On Tuesday, government television reported that more than 200 people were still stranded in Hailuogou, a popular tourist spot known for its glaciers, green forests and soaring peaks. Rescuers are still working to reopen blocked paths to reach them.

A common earthquake in Sichuan, especially in the mountains in the west, a tectonic active area along the eastern boundary of Qinghai-Tibet.

The Monday earthquake was the largest in Sichuan since August 2017, when one of 7.0 reached ABA prefecture in the northern luding.

In recent decades, the most powerful earthquake in Sichuan – and China – was in 2008, when 8.0 earthquakes centered in Wenchuan killed nearly 70,000 people.
